Within the grounds of the Hiroshima branch of the Japan Mint stand many varieties of cherry trees, They include some transplanted from the head office in Osaka, famous for its "Sakura-no-toorinuke." Since 1991, a part of the grounds of the Hiroshima branch has been opened to the public when the cherry trees are in bloom, and this remains a popular spot for cherry blossom viewing under the name "Hana-no-mawarimichi".
Of the 28,000 sets made only 50 were released for the world market.
