Fair swap

Hi, since I am new over here, I would like to ask a simple question. On which basis is a fair swap based? Is it based on the Numista rarity index?

Absolutely not! A fair swap is achieved when both parties are happy. BUT it is your responsibility to know your coins and the value of them before swapping...so you don't get upset when later on down the track you discover your coins was worth a lot. Common coins you usually go for 1:1, some people exchange silver at silver:silver.
