What's this on my Fiver? [Resolvido]

I recently found a circulated £5 note and spotted this strange straight line that's pierced through the hologram and clear window. 

Anyone have any idea what this is? 

It's a scratch in the polymer. You sometimes see straight scratches as they were done sometime straight after production (from an ATM machine) or other means.

Ahh right!

That's pretty neat then. I think I might keep it as a quirky note in my collection.
