Five USA's in a row.
Let's beat 'em!
1. Canada, but I haven't cataloged all of them (like my jars of 2000+ pennies sorted into copper and CPZ/CPS)
2. United States, most rescued from circulation. Most of these are sold off at slightly above exchange rate, but I have found about 40 of the American State Quarters circulating in Canada! The nerve of some people. Of course, I also have some U.S. "keepers" (although... American coins are usually way overpriced compared to world coins with similar designs, eras, and mintages, so I try to avoid them).
3. U.K., many are from relatives in the U.K. and can be easily found at Canadian coin stores. You can also find many Dutch coins here... who knows why?
4. Mexico, some are from relatives who visit the U.K., others I picked out because most Mexican coins are pretty attractive! I am working on a set of circulating commemoratives in the modern era and Numista is a big help for this.
5. Russia and USSR, because I usually pick Soviet coins from junk bins and get many Russian commemoratives through swapping. Of course, my most recent swap with Russia was completed just days before the very latest Sochi 2014 coin was released... x.
See.. I don't have nearly as many per country as some because I collect empire/commonwealth I have only about 2000 coins in my collection and they are starting to get expensive now !
My top 3 are
Uk (inc Channel Islands)
India (British empire, affiliated princely states and modern day commonwealth)
Canada both pre and federated.

Brazil 147
Spain 77
Argentina 58
USA 54
UK 51
France 45
Chile 45
India 43
Poland 38
Yugoslavia 37

I think I am the first to put Argentina and Chile. Uruguay is skipping my Top 10 list by one coin.
By types, because from Mexico I would have more than 5,000 otherwise.

1. Mexico 167
2. USA 50
3. Canada 7
4. Japan 3
5. France 3
6. Italy 2

And the rest of the other 15 countries I have a coin from, only 1 each.

By type only, and no commemoratives nor variants if they look pretty much the same

Germany (all forms, including Saar & Danzig): 108
Yugoslavia & Serbia: 84
Netherlands & Dutch Republic: 83
Brazil: 78
UK: 77
France: 72
Denmark: 63
Austria: 57
Greece: 57
Russia & USSR: 56
Egypt: 48
Italy: 47
Poland: 45

USA: 22 (no state quarters or any other 'one-off' circulating commem's)
Forgot Belgium with 63, and with ignoring French or Dutch texts and only 8 types of euros (waiting for the series of the new king before I add 8 more)
Here's my top 10, and I believe I will add some new countries to the lists:

1) Sweden - 730
2) UK - 259
3) USA - 248
4) Denmark - 191
4) Canada - 191
6) Finland - 168
7) Portugal - 167
8) France - 155
9) Germany (Federal) - 114
10) Spain - 124

Runner ups are Greece, Italy and Austria.

The reason why I have so much more of Swedish coins is simply because I've been given a lot of old Swedish coins and I have also been collecting all years from the circulating coin dating 1969-2012 of 1, 5 and 10 Kronor.
By year:

1. United Kingdom: 523 coins
2. Netherlands: 513 coins
3. France: 336 coins
4. Belgium: 285 coins
5. Austria: 221 coins
6. Switzerland: 218 coins
7. Germany, BRD: 216 coins
8. Canada: 138 coins
9. Portugal: 134 coins
10. Norway: 131 coins

Haha, the UK has outrun my home country just by 10 coins!

USA and German tallies (and older France) are helped by the multiple mintmarks.  Belgium is effectively being collected twice, once for each language.  If I only collected by type and date, France would overtake USA, and Germany and Belgium would not be in the top 10 (to be replaced by Italy and the Philippines).

I will do the same, update my top 10 here, but just when it significantly changes. Maybe once in few weeks or so. I don't have too many changes in short time. I guess the coming weekend I will update, because few swaps have changed the overall picture by then maybe.
But yes, it is interesting, and it keeps up the challenge in your own coin collection I think. Statistics is always cool.
My top 10:

1. UK: 139 (including Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man; without them, UK would drop to 4th place)
2. Germany: 127 (including German States, Empire, GDR, Federal Republic, Saar)
3. Netherlands: 121
4. Belgium: 114
5. France: 104
6. Serbia: 95 (including Yugoslavia)
7. USA: 85
8. Russia: 79 (empire, USSR, CIS)
9. South Africa: 70
10. India: 68 (ancient, British, Republic)

4. Argentina - 55 (I'm surprising myself here)
5. UK - 54
6. Spain - 49
7. France - 44

A six year Numista absence makes the heart grow fonder... ?
Citação: KartWayMy top 10 gives a biased view as it is infested with eurocoins from countries that have them.

1. UK -206 coins
2. Ireland - 199 coins
3. Germany Federal Republic - 144 coins
4. Spain - 88 coins
5. France - 87 coins
6. Belgium - 67 coins
7. Estonia - 55 coins
8. Finland - 50 coins
9. Italy - 47 coins
10. USA - 36 coins
After some time has passed and both swaps and entering more coins into my Numista collection last weekend have changed the balances, the results are:

1. UK - 235
2. Ireland - 211
3. Germany- Fed.republic - 162
4. France - 108
5. Spain - 93
6. Belgium - 62
7. Estonia - 58
8. Finland - 52
9. Italy - 51
10. Poland - 45

quite a change. Some been kicked off the list and others have been changing their rank. Top stayed the same.
Heh, actually only USA was kicked out the list by Poland and the rest remained on same spots, just different amounts of coins.
And I had typo with Belgium in first post. It was 62 then and still is...

You have more Indian coins than me and surprisingly I have done my first swap with you!!!
Let's Do A Swap To Know Each Other Culture.
#1 is Canada, even these jars push me over the edge:

#2 is the USA from all the coins I've taken out of circulation. Please stop spending your creepy new Jefferson nickels up here 8.
#3 - Mexico! - 143 coins
#4 - UK - 124 coins
#5 - Austria - 123 coins (because I have nearly all of the Schillings in every date)
#5 - Russia - 87 coins
#6 - Italy - 81 coins
#7 - France - 75 coins
#8 - Netherlands - 72 coins
#9 - Spain - 61 coins
#10 - USSR - 56 coins

All the Germanys taken together give me 93 coins, but this doesn't count. My collection sounds pretty boring and all-European... but I saved way too many cheap Eurocoins a few years ago and this puts everything off balance.
What dates do you need on the shillings?
1) 1646 Hungary
2) 1052 Rome (Ancient)
3) 1049 Germany (various)
4) 988 Austria
5) 987 France
6) 877 Russia/USSR
7) 737 Italy
