Abdelhamid Fenina (born 1955) is a distinguished Tunisian numismatist and professor specializing in Islamic history and archaeology. He earned his doctorate in Islamic archaeology from the University of Paris IV-Sorbonne in 1994, with a thesis on the coinage of the Regency of Tunis under the Husaynid dynasty.
Fenina has made significant contributions to the study of Tunisia's monetary history through his publications. Notably, he coordinated the multi-volume work Numismatique et histoire de la monnaie en Tunisie.
In recognition of his expertise, Fenina was awarded the Jeton de Vermeil in 2023 by the Société Française de Numismatique, underscoring his esteemed status among specialists in Arab-Muslim coinage.
