Bradbury K. Thurlow

Bradbury K. Thurlow (1924-1990) was a notable numismatist from Brookline, Massachusetts. He graduated from Harvard University with a major in Greek and Italian. Thurlow made significant contributions to the field of ancient numismatics, particularly in the study of Italian cast coinage. Thurlow co-authored an important work titled "Italian cast coinage: Italian Aes Grave and Italian Aes Rude, Signatum and the Aes Grave of Sicily" with Italo G. Vecchi. This book, published in 1979, has become a valuable reference for collectors and scholars interested in early Italian coinage.
