I recently acquired an 1822 8 real coin from Bolivia and when I went to catalog it via numista I noticed that 1822 wasn't listed even though the coin in the picture for that page is dated 1822.

NGC even includes 1822 for that series.

Here is a coin of that date besides mine just so that it is proven that it actually exists.

If you agree with me that 1822- PJ should be added to that series, then please upvote this thread.

Thanks for the help no clue how this got a downvote though all I wanted to do was add a date and I provided facts showing they exist.

It was not me! hahaha.

Seriously, in future, if you can add the date, do it so referee can accept, if not, PM the respective referee so they allow year adding or just add it. I saw this thread just by accident, so I can't always inspect the forum.

I think posting on the forum additional to the PMing of the ref is good practice for documentation and authentification you have to provide proof that the year exists and if that year belongs in said coin page for everyone to see.

I accidentally clicked on downvotes in the past and you can't take them back maybe it was the case here too.
Anyways the date is added so no problem but thanks for the clarification Idolenz.

You're right Idolenz, posting in forum is a good practice, but i this case:
A) there was no need to show coin picture, as the picture in coin page was showing the missing year, that was missing;
B) was not posted a picture in this thread to show the coin.
C) I suggest to PM referee in case year can't be added to coin page (year list closed), or if who requests can't add it for any reason.

As said before, I saw the request just by accident, I don't look forum every day on every section, and as I have 14 sections to manage (10 coins + 4 banknotes), is hard to check them all frequently. Time to time, I search forum using the country names, but it takes many time.
