Australian 2021 Baby Set Coins

I added these coins a little while ago but because I did not yet have the actual coins I used Mint images to add them to Numista. Today I had the set delivered to me so have updated the pages with actual coin images.

The Royal Australian Mint has initiated a new theme for the Baby Sets in 2021. Previously they pushed the "Possum Magic" theme. But as usual they change the theme every three years.

The new 2021 theme is based on alternate depictions of the normal circulating coins, but only the 5 cent, 20 cent and 1 dollar coins have been given this treatment. The other coins in the set are the same as standard circulating coins. The new theme is based on children's toys. So the normal Mob of 5 Roos $1 is changed to have 4 plush cuddly Kangaroos. The 20 cent has a wind up toy Platypus and the 5 cent has a wooden Echidna.

​Correct, they are only available in the 2021 Baby Mint Set and the 2021 Baby Proof Set. They are NCLT and should not go into circulation.
