There is no problem.
The 1970 New Zealand 50 cent coin was only released in sets. It was not meant for or released into circulation.
The Pink Label set was the set that contained
ordinary uncirculated coins.
Basically just standard struck coins placed in the thin plastic sheet.
Then added to a nice red plastic wallet. Mintage 30,000
The Blue Label set was the set that contained
polished specimen coins (sometimes called prooflike).
Basically just slightly better shinier coins placed in the thin plastic sheet.
Then added to a nice plastic blue wallet. Mintage 20,000
If you have one of these coins and it is not in a set then it has been removed from one of the sets. This happens to set coins all the time.
If you have a loose coin and it looks just uncirculated add it to the Bu Set line. If it looks prooflike add it to the Specimen Set line.
If you have got the coin in one of the sets you will know what it is and can add it to the correct line.
This is not rocket science guys.
