Removing the background of a picture is now very simple and fast

First, you will go to this site , then click on "Open image" as in the following photo:

Once this is done, all you have to do is save your image (it will be saved in your Downloads folder by default)

You will end up with a photo in PNG format stripped of its background:

For a picture which is difficult to crop by my classic means (Paint, μsoft Picture manager, white balance), the result is extraordinary

Hm doesn't seem to work anything more complex then simple high contrast backgrounds.
I personally prefer to use the program I am using all the time anyway be it photshop, gimp or like many on Numista photoscape which also have a magi-wand function.
An example for PhotScape X (free)

But if this site animates crop lazy members to start cropping more power to them.

It works on Smartphones or PC
an alternate website here, but limited in pictures size.

I've a lot of old irregular coins which I usually clip on Gimp but it takes such a time. Now this - it seems almost too good to be true.

1 - right click open file with program
2 - click on color menu
3 - click on color slider (remove artificially yellow light source)
4 - click apply
5 - click to save
6 - click switching to cropping
7 - click on background (remove background and crop simultaneously)
8 - click apply
9 - click to save

Hm I find warm light is way more comfortable then these sterile white lights ... just not the best for taking true color pictures

When you reach the limit close the private mode browser then open it again and continue.

Yes, that's true unfortunatelly. The one linked by Idolenz works well but only one photo at once can be edited.

I used this AI tools almost only for 7-sided coins. For round coins, there are better tools, also online.

I gave someone a link to pixlr a few days ago. oops. 😏 Sad it stopped working. I used it many times.

Since then I have downloaded Photoscape. It has rotate and crop round, but not background remover.

so good for coins. but less so for sporting events, or pets.

Pixlr.com has changed a bit.

Choose ultra-high resolution, then AI tools, and remove the background.

For retouching, for example, to remove the center, select the scissors tool and then the magic eraser.

An interesting new feature: the ability to save as a high-definition JPG rather than a PNG, which would then need to be converted.

Three images are allowed per day, but this limit is removed if you are browsing in private mode …

For perfectly round and plain coins, you can use GIMP, which is very simple and easy to use.
