I’m just curious about who owns the biggest coin on this forum this can be any coin or token but I mainly want to know about the largest coins you own.
I would like to see your coins or tokens with photos or links to your coins they can be circulating or non-circulating.
Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.
Very beautiful design on the coin I do have a modest collection of South African coins that I get in small lots every few months.

that’s huge that beats my biggest coin nearly
two times over.

BTW The coin is quite rare because I haven’t seen any for sale in my country or on any other website since the last one I saw sold for between 40-65 USD back in 2018.
also it has some minor toning because my family bought it back in 2010 and they placed it in the suitcase to go back to the UK. But when they opened it up after arriving into the UK the plastic packaging has been cracked badly we assumed it was by the airport ground crew so I never trust putting a coin even with plastic protection in a suitcase ever again.

I like that coin so much one day I might buy one also I didn’t expect it to be that big!

I like you large non-circulating coins but I would like to have a mix of large circulating coins as well.

Hi Essor Prof
Those are decent coins but This topic is for circulation and non-circulating coins so I can get a good idea on which large coin I might buy in the future.

Okay, here are the last non-circulating coins. They were already on the scanner (at least one side), so it would be sad to made the effort for nothing:
Those coins look good and only just beat my biggest coin by 2.5mm! so you are the king of owning large coins.

My largest Circulating coin is the 20 pesos coin from Mexico 32.06mm with many other coins to compare to the size of the two coins.

I do have a sweet spot of the coins from the Americas partially Mexico and other countries such as Panama and Venezuela. After complete my goal of getting at least 3 coins from every country in the modern world I would invest in buying proof sets with coins similar to these.

British Trade Dollar, 39mm https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces8472.html
although if I count my souvenir Kennedy half-dollars then the largest would probably be 77 mm... (subject to margin of error. Measurement was done by a ruler.)

Common enough piece, no need for photos of my own. At over 50g it's a ridiculously hefty historical circulating coin, and worth an amazing 5 kopecks. Can you imagine trying to pay for anything with this? The weight of the coin would probably exceed the weight of most goods you might purchase with it!
Sincerely, I've had trouble imagining how this coin was ever practical, and yet it's readily available so presumably saw some real use. Indeed, Ekaterina II coppers were apparently in demand, from my research, resulting in the creation of this...well, see for yourself:
I bet they would sell well in the future what a good investment.

Citação: "Goutham Sivasailam"It is not only HUGE but it is extremely rare. Only 2000 coins were minted
I wouldn't call it extremely rare. And mintage figures don't tell the whole story, for two reasons:
- Most collectors don't collect NCLT's and certainly not these kind of NCLT's.
- Since this is an NCLT none of these coins will be hand in after demonetization, get lost or wear down totally. For comparison: the Belgian 5 Francs 1832-1849 KM# 3 has a much higher mintage but 94,5 % of these coins were hand in after demonetization. And that's the official number that was hand in at the Mint. That's without the number of coins that get lost, wear down totally or melt down at jewelers and private firms.

I'm a collector, not an investor. I'll never sell it.
Sorry just curious.

Love the Papua New Guinea coin set that explains your addiction to shiny coins. Btw I love silver coins from any country in the world and Middle Eastern coins are no exception (I don’t own silver Middle Eastern coins at the moment).

Back in 2018 I picked up this huge 20 Euro French coin. It commemorates Sébastien le Prestre de Vauban, a designer of the bastion fort or trace italienne. It was a typical type of fortress from the 17th & 18th centuries. The proof piedfort has a dia: 50mm & weight: 155.5 g (5 ounces) and a mintage of only 500.

Love the design you must be lucky to own it you’re 1 in 500 so very few people can actually own it.

Hello forum:
I purchased this United States ¼ Dollar silver proof coin. It commemorates Arches National Park it Utah.
Diameter: 76.2 mm. 5 Oz, Ag. 2014. I had an excellent visit to the park in 2013.
