Hi guys.
I am new here and would appreciate any advice on this £2 all silver coin from 2011, is it real or fake? It's thinner than a different £2 coin as the pics show, I dont have scales to weigh it but can get some if anyone believes that important,
This is a counterfeit. Even without measurements, the details are ridiculously off. No edge lettering, the size is wrong, and the Queen appears to have had facial reconstruction surgery.

Here's what I think it's trying to imitate: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces1324.html
Just looking at the portrait, it looks like a very poor quality counterfeit. Besides, the edge should read as 'Standing on the shoulders of giants'

Here's the what the real thing looks like

There is a bimetallic where the inner pill is silver

This site is useful to see if your coin is fake. but lucky for us this one is very obviously a fake.

Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.
