Change of composition?
After taking a better look (thanks greatly to my wife): the right (yellow) one is slightly thicker (I don't have the tool to measure exactly) and there's a difference in design (leaves) :

AND: on red one the end of word ציון is aligned with the dot above, while on the yellow one dots end before the end of the word!
The coin on the left, the tables holding the fruit, appear to be the same height, the coin on the right, the tables appear to be different heights, the one on the right of the tree appears to be taller than the table on the left, maybe an optical allusion, just what I see, maybe this will help others who have more knowledge in this subject

You're absolutely right and no - it's not an illusion. The right table IS different (even more than the other elements).
On the yellow one you have 6 flower elements, on the brown only 5, that's what I think I see? The right table on the yellow coin is higher.

So is that OK?

Not exactly: while there IS difference in the shape of leaves on side branches and the stem of the palm-tree, the easiest way to distinguish between them is that right "table" and the alignment of text against the lowest dot.

There are a lot of differences between these obverses.
I have first found them myself, then successfully knew that they are already published here.
The information at N#2720 needs to be updated.
2016 (5776) with obverse 1 should be added, it is shown even in this topic. I also have such coin.
2022 exist with both obverses.
And to my knowledge, regular 10 shekels 5758(1998) does not exist.
I have found all mentioned coins, except one - still searching 10 shekels 2010 with obverse 2.

My documentation isn't on the coin page any longer, so I don't make any updates on it of course.

Sjoelund

Maybe we can find a way to make updates.

And I have found a few more varieties of Israeli coins, which I would like to show after making good photos. They are not so significant, but I guess, not described yet.

I'm always ready to help you, in case the images in HI-RES are.
