Canada: error coins given their own page as if they were coin types [Resolvido]

Hello,

I see that five coins have been added under Canada which are ERROR COINS, and therefore are not separate COIN TYPES. These pages should be deleted. When the info is not found on the original page where it belongs, then the lines such as “Upset dies” should be transferred.

Here are the 5 pages:

Give me time to modify the coins. They were drafts and your modification request was already taking into consideration. For the picture, since there is none provided without the denomination, they will be erased. They will be replace by KM#184.

A request to move members from one coin to the other is already in the process.

I think however such pages shouldn't be published as drafts because then a member can see them (like I did) and enter his/her own data. I regularly check the New Additions page because the RCM cares only about selling coins; their website doesn't even make clear whether a new commem is circulating or just NCLT (for example, the new 1972-2022 Canada-USSR series coin).

At least one or two of the 25¢ mules are actually listed at the right place already.

I kind of agree with you to keep only one page. But how will we decide witch one to keep ?

BCNumismatics is telling me “All of them were found in Canada”. If true, on top of the Canadian planchet, make sense to me to keep it in the country where it was in circulation. What do you think or propose ?

We should find a way to keep track of a mule in the other country as well I think. Maybe in the comment section. 

I have a similar case under investigation with Venezuela.

Well it's impossible to keep your changes in both languages when you edit a page. You absolutely have to save the page before switching languages. Unless someone else has a new trick, this will probably happen again.

I took a look at the “Change History” this morning and I was still working on the coin page at 22:50. You wrote your message at 22:58. Bad timing. 

When a new coin is added, I suggest sending Change Requests and wait 24 hours or you can write to the referee. We will feel less lonely this way. 🤣

I couldn't find in the Numista catalogue one of the most famous Canadian mules: the 10¢ 171 H Canada / Newfoundland mule. They ended up in circulation as obvious from the example in the link. Currently only two examples are known, both in the BoCanada Museum collection.

Soon I will be adding all the mule coin listed in book references I own (now that I'm allmost done reviewing the catalog). Feel free to add some yourself. Same for missing pictures. I'm making a point of honnor to approve request within a week if not less.

Yes, if mules are given their separate pages (I disagree, but this is no big deal).

(However, the two 1999 mule 25 cents are non-circulating since found only in sets, never among business strikes.)
