Hello,
I think there is some work to do, and probably more researches. So let's start with this first analysis.
This topic concerns
We can classify those medals into 4 different classes.
First class, and probably the original strike, with the counter stamp *121 MI 917
We can report 4 types as below
38 mm 31.94 gr
30 mm 15.96 gr
23 mm 8.00 gr
20 mm 3.99 gr
I have found a set presenting the 3 smallest medals (without the 38 mm) into a black square case, and also another set presenting the complete series into a dark green set. Both sets seems to be rare, or unique.
Second class, probably a later strike but from same period, with counter stamp *121 MI 22K
with 2 types as below (with same diameter and same weight as First class)
38(?) mm 31.63 gr
30 mm 15.98 gr
Third class, probably a much later strike, with counter stamp CHI 21K
with 2 types (with different diameter and weight as First and Second classes)
30(?) mm 12.53 to 12.61 gr
23 mm 4.95 to 5.03 gr (much thinner compared to First class)
and Fourth class, unknown, crude example, picture does not help, without counter stamp
only one type known
23(?) mm 7.82 gr
These medals were struck by Ahmad Hasan Fitaihi
If anyone has any more information, it will help to adjust the catalog.
