Old Vietnam coin identification

5 publicações
Hello,

Can anyone help me to identify this coin? I think it is a Vietnamese coin, but because of the bad quality and the lack of speaking and reading Vietnamese I can't identify it.

Hope someone can :)

Thank you!

Hey you have it upside down.

It's Chinese, from the Sung (or with new Numista guidelines, Song) Dynasty, minted from 1068CE.

We've got the same coin, but in a different font - treat it as the Scottish and English Shillings if you will.

Please create a page with this information on, copy all information except name it "1 Cash - Shenzong (Xining - Yuanbao, Seal Script)"

Thank you - very helpful !

The coin has been added. I thought it was a Vietnamese coin from around 1900, so it's very nice to hear it's almost 1000 years old!

Thanks again!

Could you please reload your picture, but the right way up? It's upside down.
