If I were you, I would do research on eBay ("sold items"), CoinArchives and acsearch to find recent selling prices of coins in similar condition.

WIthout an image, nobody here can answer your question.n  “Decent condition” can mean VG-F, or can mean EF-AU depending on your viewpoint.

Let's just say it's VG, is it a good deal then? I mean €7.8 is the metal value itself, is it still not worth it?

If you like it, buy it.  The downside is minimal.
