Sorry, but there are no genuine coins in the first post.
I collect coins and tokens which circulated in Africa from 18th century to 2000. I sell about 7000 illustrated world coins from

Both aren't real. They might be contemporary counterfeits.
If they were real the first one is a Chinese Yuan Shikai dollar, and the second one is a Taiwanese dollar.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Could someone tell me what signs I am looking for to indicate that these are not real??
Any other sources I should be looking at for more information on these coins?
More information on the coins is as follows:
Coin 1: Diameter 41mm Weight 23g
Coin 2: Diameter 39mm Weight 18g
Both coins photographed under bright white LED lighting so colours may not be accurate.
Regards,
Pete.

Citação: watermillpies Could someone tell me what signs I am looking for to indicate that these are not real??I've been verifying fake Chinese coins for a long time so I can guarantee.
You can see that the engraving of the characters and the head are crude, and the mills around the edge are uneven.
Don't feel disappointed; Chinese coins, especially these two designs, are faked all the time. It's very rare you'll see a real one of these.
