It weighs about 32 grams, is 42mm in diameter and has what looks like seawater corrosion.
I cannot find alot of info on it unfortunately…
It looks like it is an overdate.

Looks to be a reproduction of this coin: N#71043 or possibly was meant to copy this one: N#289921 .
Thanks for the information!
Are there any known reproductions of this type and date however? And how is it so strikingly realistic to a genuine, corroded shipwreck example?
I ding-tested it and I can almost with certainty say it sounds like silver (a long, relatively high pitched ding),
Which means it's definitely not your “avarage” pewter cast fake.
Kind regards, NH
Looks like a reproduction to me based primarily on the wear/lack of detail in the center vs. the outside particularly on the reverse. I'm not an expert, don't take my word for it. Let's see what others say.

I can agree on that,
but in my opinion it looks more like a result of a weak strike.
These coins were hammered, and when the person doing that didn't put enough power on it (or if the flan's field was irregular, which is probably the case for my coin) , the details would seem worn.
But yes, let's see what others say 😀

Update:
Contacted an expert who works at Schulman Auctions.
The coin is authentic, and has shipwreck (Meresteijn) provenance going back to 1975 (Glendining auction lot 74, picture is included(!) on page 26).
As a year it's extremely rare, at only 2 known including this piece.
Congratulations!
I was already going to say yes, it is rare, because I can't find any other 1680s, and now we know why.
Did Schulman comment on the overdate possibility? Because the only 1679s I could find are 1679/76, which would give the possibility yours is a 1680/79/76.
Curious if you found it locally in NL or some other place. A lot of Low Countries coins left the area in trade, and rare dates are now turning up in auctions in eastern Europe.

Schulman did not comment on the overdate, although it's quite clear when viewed with a magnifying glass.
He did comment on the rarity; this might be the only privately owned example, with the other known example being in the NNC:

Was indeed bought locally here, at the first coin show I ever went to.
Really wanted a Holland ducatoon of any date between 1672-1694.
Saw a man who was trading with a retailer holding a flip with this coin in it, and I just said ‘Yup that's the one, I need it, I want it.’ The retailer didn't mind since he already had ducatoons (iirc) and most likely because I am quite passionate in comparison to my age :)
