This coin design (2007-2011, Rupees 2 India) comprises of a Bharatnatyam nritya (or nrutya) hasta mudra - dance hand pose or posture. Bharatnatyam is one amongst more of Indian Classical dances.

Please show the variant in cropped hi-res images and of course the “normal” coin as well. Please, also show us why you think it's a variant? In English please.
