China 20 cents/2 jiao coin

Sorry of this is a dumb question but it seems that NGC and Numista claim a different face value for the same coin, is there any official explanation for this? Thanks for any info

Same face value just different terminology. 1 Jiao = 1/10th of a Yuan, 2 Jiao = 2/10ths of a Yuan, etc.  2/10ths = 20 cents.

Literal translation on the coin “5 pieces of 1 Yuan” - 1/5th or 20 parts of 100 = 20(cents) of 1 Yuan.
