Silver coin help identifying [Resolvido]

The photos are not the best. Try to take them again without the case.

In the first photo I believe we can see the letters  IMPER in the legend

In the second photo, I believe the legend starts at 9:00 (the way your photo is positioned), and there is a letter Q at 12:00.

That may be enough for someone to find it (with better search skills than mine 🙂).

Correcting my earlier comment … 

In 1st photo I am only reasonably confident of PER (5:00 to 7:00 the way the photo is oriented).  Possibly preceded by a gothic L and an I.  

2d photo my comment on the Q was wrong.  It is O.  

 Pictures cropped, such as they are. A few letters and guesses … 

 Maybe if that first picture is turned just over 90° to the right, 

it could be an eagle with spread wings. 

When I first looked at Photo 1 I thought of the lion of Venice rather than an eagle.  On the cross side, the lettering VENER could correspond to one of the doges (rulers) named Venier.

But sometimes the stuff I think I see turns out to be incorrect.  

 Ah, yes, it could be VENER lettering. Still looking … 

Edit - on a search I found a cross in a circle with VENERIO lettering, 

which it looks like this coin could also have. 

 Not sure about the picture of the other side. It is >

 Then, just before it, on the edge with only the lower part 

of the lettering, it could be ANTO there. At the end of 

the lettering, if it were that coin, would be DUX but 

none of those three letters can be seen at all. 

Reverse: Cross in inner circle

Lettering: +ANTO' VENERIO DVX 

Issuer: Kingdom of Candia (Crete, Greece) 
Doge: Anthony Venier (1382-1400) 

 A quick drawing

 As the shape is nowadays not a complete circle, I put a dot in 

the centre of the cross to roughly measure where the 

outside [blue] might have been. Inside that is not much of 

the rope border, so I added [pink] where that would have been. 

 The rest of the space is some of the lettering, so I added a

few [green] letters, or part of letters. Still unsure of the coin …  

 Lastly, looking at the coin in the link, 

I see on the obverse is VEXILIFER which earlier 

I put as seeing LIP so instead could now be LIF then 

from which, knowing what other letters it could be, 

made out ILIFER lettering. 

 The size of the coin in the link is 16.43 mm which corresponds. 

Trying now to find a better condition example for comparison …

Obverse: Winged lion of St. Mark with nimbus to the left, holding book 

of Gospels with both front paws all in inner circle,

Lettering: VEXILIFER VENETIA 

Reverse: Cross in inner circle

Lettering: +ANTO' VENERIO DVX

I had looked in Venice “proper” under the various Venier doges without success but didn't think to look in the colonies.
