8R ferdin VII 1813 - 24 grams.

Please Kindly share your opinion regarding this coin from my collections. The exact weight of my specimen coin is only 24 grams. Though its non-magnetic. I wanted to know if its real or fake.

Can you please show pictures of the edge? And give the size in mm?

However, 3 gr less than  the official weight (27.0674 gr) ….. I think it is to much as to be explained by wear and tear.

The lettering (irregular and odd shaped) and dots (to big) separating the single words make me be suspicious, also this little dots on the obverse surface.

The edge is approximately 3mm thickness. 
i would gladly accept and respect  the results of your observations. What matters to me is to know the identity of my specimen coin.

Your picture of the edge confirmed my thoughts ….. unfortunately your coin is a fake.

The edge of this coins (spanish-american colonies) have a pattern of alternating rectangles and and annulets  

… yours is absolutely smooth.

Well, i just hope it wasnt, because i really love looking at this coin. Anyway it okey with me And at least i know now how to spot a real one.
