1872 5 Lire Rome Mint?

Hi, I picked up a what somebody said was an 1872 5 Lire R mint coin, but I am really not so sure.

5 Lire - Victor Emmanuel II - Italy – Numista

Diameter = 37mm

Thickness =  2.65mm (seems a little bit thick)

Weight = 24.8g

Do I understand that your coin doesn't have F E R T on the edge between the rosettes?

And are you sure it's silver? The surface doesn't look right to me, but that could just be the cleaning or photo.

Hi Yes it does have F E R T between the rosette, I can't be 100% sure it's silver, but i see what could maybe be an edge as if it has a thin layer of silver on top and the core is made from something else, but I am no expert so not sure if that is a thing that they do.

I am led to believe that the rosette should be curved on the edges and not flat like my picture?
