Hello i have some of these notgelds, but they are unifaced, either the “20 Lubeck” side , either the reverse.
Is it normal? a variant?

Sounds like they might be specimens. Please add pictures.
Interesting and nowhere nearer to an answer …
Maybe test notes or specimens, maybe play money (is it the same size as the originals?), or just printing errors with only one side printed …
I do see slight difference in the printings (check out the A/M at the bottom), but those varieties also seem to present themselves with the 5 original notes. So I am inclined to see them as original prints, so most probably error notes … but that's just my 20 Pfennigs 😉
What's strange is that the normal ones are like double in thickness. So it kinda looks like this normal notgeld is made up of 2 of these uniface notgelds. But there's no sign of being glued togheter or that you can somehow remove them apart.
WOW, the plot thickens :-)
I love this kind of mysteries … but am afraid I can't help any further
Maybe @Silberschatz can help?
Notgelds themselves are a mistery. :)
Are they made out of compressed cardboard that delaminated? I am not a fan of non money notgeld (the colorful picture series etc. that you find 95% of the time uncirculated) but this would be the first time I heard about falling apart notes.

I can't really tell, but I wouldn't be surprised if those are just trials or specimen, because most of these Serienscheine were printed by private printing companies without being actual money for payment function at any time.
