1p 1979 ABL “ Lone variant “ ?

Hello everyone. Id like to show this comparative photos i made to clearly identify the difference that i thought is a “ variety “ or another type?

it seems to me that only the 1979 coin die differs from the others. The inner design as i call it is far from the rim.

hope my comparative photos will help you see the difference and hope to come up with an identity to it & be added if necessary on the catalog.

Yes, there is a very small difference. From your pictures the average distance to the rim for the 1975-1977 is 0.97 mm (0.88, 1.20,0.82) while for the 1979 it's 1.44 mm (1.71, 1.35, 1.25). I don't think the difference is large enough to worry about and may also be due to die wear.
