As you know, recently my home country Bulgaria abandoned the traditional Bulgarian Lev and adopted the Euro.

As a result I have both:

many Bulgarian regular circulation Lev coins in perfect condition and of all denominations

And bright new still shiny in perfect condition Bulgarian Eurocents (which inevitably are in the first year of emissions). Again regular circulation.

I suppose, that now is the best time if someone wants one of the above to take action and we to make a swap, since both type of coins are still cheap. If you show interest, I am looking for your offers for exchanging or swapping coins.

Good luk to all collectors!

I like that you still use стотинки on the obverse of the cent coins. 😊

Edited spelling

Hello ngdawa!
I am not sure that I understood. I am new in numismatics so I may not understand all at the beginning :)

You like that I still use the stotinki - so far so good - but what do you mean by “on the reverse of cent coins”
Do you mean if I would swap them for cents? I would but I am not sure that you meaned that.
I also don't mind not to swap them …

What ngdawa means is that he likes that the word stotinki is written on the reverse of the euro cent coins.

“on the reverse of cent coins”

Sorry, I meant on the obverse. Obverse is the “face side”, or “front side” of a coin, and reverse is the “back side” of the coin. I like that Bulgaria chose to keep their native word for “cent”, just like Greek euro cents still uses λεπτά on their obverse side.

Interesting

Hello

If you find someting in my swap list i can swap for the bulgarian euro coins

best regards

Recently I got rolls with UNC coins from the new Bulgarian Euros and Eurocents. So, in future swaps I can provide UNC quality.

I also get evaluated my remaining levs coins and they are in different condition, but it turned out, that there are some in UNC-like condition too.

P.S.

From my modest experience as a numismat I understood that the mailing taxes are an unexpectedly powerfull obsticle for swapping.

So I got on my mind: numismats, who are in countries neighbouring Bulgaria, and who have a path to Sofia, Bulgaria for one reason or another, we may meet in person and do the swaps without sending postoffice mails. Same for people who plan to visit Bulgaria as tourists. We may swap in person.

Hi! You can look at my swap list, I'd love your Lev coins, and also maybe the Euro ones, if you take interest in enough of mine. I have a lot of Italian lira, if you are interested in those, I could also easily find Italian euro for you, if you don't have any of those. In any case, you can direct message me.
