Coins from my time in Japan in 1973

I was an exchange student to Japan (from Australia) in 1973 and was given a small collection of coins by some Japanese friends. Is it possible to sell them as a job lot? How should I go about doing this? A dozen of them are older/rarer. The coins are in Australia.

Hi
The terms of use you agreed on when joining numista state that this website is for documenting and swapping only, no sales are allowed. You can use ebay or your local sites to try and sell them.

Just call me Bram

No new swaps for the moment, still too many half-ongoing swaps to clean up!

A local coin dealer in Australia would be your best option for selling your collection as a job lot.

Alternatively, you could ask one of the Australian numismatic auctioneers if they would be interested in selling them for you.

For either of these, I would recommend emailing them a list of the coins along with their grades.

If some of your coins are rare, then it might be a better option to go for sale by auction; alternatively, scarcer coins can be used as leverage with a dealer to sell them all as a single lot.
