I don't have an example of it myself, so wondering if there are indeed any of the 2016 variants that have the PM mintmark at all. I only have the AA, AC and BA. But all are without the PM mintmark.
I'd love to see if anyone does have any of the 2016 letter variants with PM mintmark that they could photograph and share.
Yes, I also think that these coins could not exists at all. Maybe AA was issued with PM but rather the next ones were only without mintmark. Howev, some users claims to have it - this will be probably longer story to check it deeper.
Can you post here your photo of AC without PM 2016?
Yes, I think so… this could be AC /CA dependenend on what side you are reading from to… same AB/BA mentioned on the other topic that BA is missing… I want to see the AC example from the user who opened this topic just to confirm that this is the same version (or different) as in the example.
I will do the review of these coins but have a limited time now, I'm doing this chronoligically. Currently I'm reviewing the IOM circulation coins from '80.

Be sure everyone is on the same page. If you read from left to right it's BA, if you read from top to bottom it's AB. Normally we describe lettering from top to bottom. I don't know how it's done with the mintmarks but why should that be different?

The only 2016 coin I have with a PM is the TT 50 Pence. (I don't have any crown or precious metal issues.) Every other than that 50 P coin every example of a 2016 circulating issue I've seen a picture of doesn't have a PM.
Maybe. It depends. But we'll work it out. It's important we all look at it the same way (top to bottom or left to right). Most logical to me is top to bottom because we describe all the other lettering that way but let's see what the referee says. It's possible there's a lot of confusion because of interpretation and that shouldn't happy. There's only 1 possible rule.
