I've found this strange Chinese coin:

but it has a strange mark, maybe a Chinese character.

Strange.  It looks like the first half of a Japanese Heisei mark.

looks like fake for me, very bad quality..

I had also thought it was a fake... too poor details.

This is a 10 Fen from the Republic of China, year 29. But there's something unique about this one.

The mark under the knife coin on the reverse is an indicator of "pattern", or "trial strike". Based on the weak strike on the obverse, I'm leaning towards fake for this coin.

Why would someone fake a Nickel coin, Not rare either?  

Because pattern coins are very valuable.
