I got some "China - Empire, Tongzhi 10 cash" from someone.
diameters from 23mm to 26mm. weight from 2.15g to 3.52g range.
Could be included in this ID or another one?
Oh god, where did you get them and can I possibly trade for some other cash?
During the Tongzhi era, 10 cash were extremely crudely struck. 10 cash coins go as small as 23mm and as large as 30mm. However, there are only four varieties that do not regard size, but minor variations in the characters (protruding head, one or two dot 通, etc). I can see there's definitely more than one variety, possibly all four varieties are already here.
As I promised, I'm currently working on Chinese imperial coins and will have them completely verified and finished (description field, varieties, and whatnot) some time next month. I'm also looking forward to having new country representatives for China who own David Hartill's catalogue and who understand Chinese enough, under the new verification system being installed this month.

I guess I need Hartill's catalogue then.

You should! It's a bible for Chinese cash collectors.
I also hope you have a basic understanding of Chinese if you do become part of the representative (currently called "referee") system. I am not Chinese and do not fluently speak Chinese, but half of understanding Japanese is reading traditional Chinese characters. I'm really excited about the new system and how well it will turn out.

I can get by in speech (in Mandarin) and recognize a few hundred characters, writing more of an issue. Not great, but I'm get to know the characters for the Emperors. Good enough?
