Just a few rules to clarify everything:
Only coins found in circulation will be counted (so this thread doesn't include 2016-dated coins that you've purchased)
All findings will be listed once, the first finder of a coin is going to be listed next to the coin below
Unfortunately I haven't found any 2016 coins so far, so I'm very keen to know if you have found any!

Just picked up a 2016 P Dime, in of all places, the coin star machine at my local Kroger. It counts as my first coin star find, along with a quarter, another dime and two pennies. 47 cents in all.

1,5,10,25,50 Dirhams
1,5 and 10 does not circulate since many years... At least 2007 when I lived there, I was there last year twice and only 25/50 available. Is this a collectors set? It is strange that someone mention 1,5,10 are circulating. I will update the list later today with lasted findings/reports
Well, he was adding 50 Dirham, and mentioned that he saw new set circulating. So it is possible that he saw only 50 dirham and not the others and only dedcuted that information.

No! It is a lovely set, but it can NOT be listed in a list that dates 2016 coins found in circulation. CIRCULATION is the key word here!

Now the list says I found a 1 ruble. That's not correct, I found a 2 rubles (the other guy found a 1 ruble previously - I haven't actually seen that denomination of the new type yet).
As for the name, I've been using it on AlternateHistory.com for over seven years (since early May 2009), and in some discussions elsewhere even earlier.
It originally (in original Russian) came from my account on Absurdopedia (the Russian version of Uncyclopedia), and was thus specifically created to sound a bit silly. (It's been compared to Bee Gees before - whatever that is - but not to Yoda, as far as I can remember.)
In case you wonder, one part of it is when I was born, and the other is where I live (specifically, the closest metro station to my home as of when I made it up in 2007). If you're anywhere near familiar with Moscow geography, you can probably guess which is which fairly easily.

You didn't actually change the date either (it probably should be 6/1/2016, for June 1).

I'm on a business trip to Lima, Peru and managed to find these 2016 5 and 10 centimos coins in change. I haven't been able to find *any* 20 centimos. I've been buying things with cash left and right, but everything is priced in round numbers of soles, so all I get back are 50 centimos and up! I actually had to bum these off a colleague who got them in her change at the grocery store we went to.
Just got as refund from Shell-petrol 4* €0,20 Netherlands 2016.
Even as the Germany (2016) €0,02 mintletter:A & F it is registered in mine swap-list.

On this site : http://www.knm.nl/oranjeset-2016/nl/product/9148/ you can read that only the €0,05 & €0,20 coins minted in 2016 will be used in circulation! All others only in sets!
