I have seen that now Seborga (that geographically amounts to a small village on the Ligurian coast) is not a kind of state, not just a state not recognised by United nations, as the other listed in such category (that are the result of parts of a country looking for independece).
It is a kind of personal initiative of some one that affirms to the heir of someone that in the past was a kind of duke or something similar in that village. Very recent such person stated that he was the prince of Seborga and started to issue coins, and the result is that tourists came to visit the place and buy the Seborga coins. Italian authority does not do anything, since the result is an increase of tourism, and the Seborga people go on to pay taxes to Italy and to respect our laws.
So Seborga should be eliminated form the state lists and its coins moved to exonumia.
Best regards from Genova (Italy) - more or less 150 km from Seborga.
That is why was created the Micronations section, separate from other states: they're all personal initiative pseudo-states which have their collectors as well.
We've a serious issue as there are people willing to exit all micronations (myself, I don't like them and I will never collect them), however, we also have supporters of such entities who would protest for their merge in Exonumia.
This situation can be considered as a balanced situation, but may also have incovenients (to tell you the truth, my fear would be in contrary an explosion of splits from Exonumia to new micronations) which may be countered with future improvements in the future. We can for example, expect later to filter countries, leading to hide micronations for people who wouldn't see them anymore.

Sorry, but I know very well the case it is not a state. There are no laws, no administration, no one collect taxes for the Prince; the inhabitants follow the Italian laws, pay taxes to Italy,...
And there are no problem with the police since any one know that it is a kind of folkloristic initiative, that result in improving the local economy
But their so called coins are at the same level of this one
Also myself and the other people living in my y appartement building may decide to be independent, and start to produce coins,... Until we pay taxes to Italy, follow the italian law ... there are chance that no one bother us, and we may money by selling our coins ...
Sorry again, but as Italian I like to assess precisely the extent of my country
Perhaps the problem is the name of the category, since "micro state" applies better to Vatican City than to Seborga.
If you call "Pseudo state" will be perfectly ok, since in this way you do not give the status of "state" to private initiatives.
All of the coins in Seborga are X#'s. I thought that this was a criteria for coins being placed in Exonumia. What is the rationale for moving coins such as https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces14099.html because it has an X# and not moving all of the Seborga X#'s to Exonumia?
It seems that, against all odds, we are changing the way to fill Exonumia. Most countries and territories listed within Exonumia are fantasy issues fraudulously allieged to those states or territories. Only few of them were minted under a micronation name.
The 4 actual micronations existed long before. And our new plans are to make you able to hide micronations if you prefer not to see them.
