I guess that means there's only one non-commemorative issue yet to show up for this year (2 rubles) - lots of "circulating" commemoratives still to go, however.
Citação: "Mark240590"Still haven’t found an N yet. I have ETHA just need that to finish his name. In fact I need 2 for the new baby’s name too !
Hi Mark,
Yes, "N" is proving really elusive along with "I". If I get any more in work and the guy has N's I will try and get a couple extra for you.
Phil
Cheers mate, I actually need x2 N, x2 R & x1 “I” typical !
I received this Mandela centenary 5 Rand today, with which I am delighted! They have officially been in circulation since 18 June but this is the first one I've seen. It was used to pay for something in the car parts company where my partner works and she put it aside for me.

Nice coin Andrew and our first (and second) coins found for South Africa. Keep looking/reporting
Citação: "Lotus07"Yesterday I got back from my Balkan holiday and I found these shiney gems in circulation:
Turkey 5 Kurus, 10 Kurus, 50 Kurus, 1 Lira (both edge lettering types)
Serbia 5 Dinara
Hungary 5 Forint, 10 Forint and 20 Forint (already mentioned unfortunately)
Regards
Thanks Pepijn, and another 2 countries reported. List updated (you may want to check the 2017 list by the way, it hasn't been updated since February)
Citação: "Giobruno"I bought a set with all the Brazil coins of 2018 for a friend (5, 10, 25, 50 centavos and 1 real).
Thanks Giobruno. Unfortunately this forum is only to report coins "found in circulation" and not coins purchased. Thanks anyway
Phil
No problem. The coins I bought were certainly taken out of coin rolls (there were coin rolls for sale too), so we know that they're already out there to be found on streets. Luck to our fellow Brazilian members .
Sorry I made a mistake: 2 Euro D "Bundesländer - Berlin" --> Euromunt (08-08-2018) should be 2 Euro F "Bundesländer - Berlin" --> Euromunt (08-08-2018)
Furthermore you can now add the following coin that I yesterday found in circulation in Belgium: 2 euro G "Bundeslander-Berlin"--> Euromunt (27-08-2018)
The 2018-dated coins I have so far found in circulation:

I remember last year or 2016 someone mentioned that the whole set is released on the early months (all coins currently in circulation)
Citação: "January First-of-May"Got a 2 ruble 2018 in change today (or yesterday, not sure).
Apparently this hadn't been reported yet... last of the definitive issues from Russia (though lots of "circulating" commemoratives still to go).
Funnily, it appears that the only remaining circulating commemoratives are a bunch of 25 ruble coins (whose circulation is marginal even for the three fairly common World Cup commemoratives, and is probably completely absent for the much scarcer other types) - and the two Winter Universiade 10 ruble coins, which were only released less than a week ago.
Which means that we're unlikely to see any more Russian additions to this thread anytime soon (somewhat unfortunately).
Recently purchased and just received a nice new 2018 proof set of the Australian coins. Why did I buy this set? I buy the first edition and last edition of the Queens portrait. Example: I have an uncirculated set of 1966 Australian coins with the Queen's portrait being by Arnold Machin. And I have a proof set from 1984 which is the last year the Machin portrait was used before it was updated to the new Raphael David Maklouf portrait that ran from 1985 to 1998. The Ian Rank-Broadley series then took over.
On a side note, though I collect the proof sets for the start and end of a series, I have only an "uncirculated" set for 1966 as the proof sets were produced in a PVC case. In short, they now look terrible. A good set is worth well over $1000 AUS with the 50 cent coin often showing the brunt of PVC damage, so I settled for an uncirculated set. It is in better condition and all up cost me less than $100 AUS.
Anyhow...... As of 2019 the Australian coins are getting a makeover with the Ian Rank-Broaley design being replaced with a new portrait of an older queen by Jody Clark. This portrait will be a little different from past editions as it will feature her shoulders. As this is a new run of the portrait, I will undoubtedly be collecting a 2019 Proof set, but it's not out as yet.

Updated Kazakhstan and added Bulgaria as new country (first time a coin has been "claimed" for Bulgaria for years looking at the previous forums). Can you confirm this is the correct coin? Thanks.
Hello,
Yes it is the same coin, 2 leva 2018, https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces131726.html
You never got Bulgaria reported,as for the last 10 years,only 2 new coins were introduced,the 2 leva 2015,and 2 leva 2018.
There are always new coins introduced into circulation, but all they are dated "2000" for the 1,2,5 stotinki;"1999" for 10,20,50 stotinki,"2002" for the 1 lev,and "2015" for the standart 2 leva coin.
Citação: "pcarey2003"Just had a takeaway for tea and got my first one of these in my change
Wow!
It's the first one I've heard of so far!
I haven't found any yet but I plan to get one £1 from every year possible since release as I was too young to do so with the old pound coins. I did however get one of each design at least.

Btw. I have already found 2018 5 Kč coin long ago, so will let you know if I find one yet again.
Plus I doubt any 20 Kč with the St.Wenceslas statue will appear. Three new types of 20 Kč are coming on 23rd October with Masaryk, Štefánik and Beneš to commemorate 100th anniversary of Czechoslovakia. Masaryk and Štefánik were previously on the Czechoslovak 10 Kčs with years 1990 (Masaryk), 1991 (Štefánik), 1993 (both).
And another 3 types are going to be released on 30th January. These will feature Rašín (also on 1992 and a unique 1993 10 Kčs), Pospíšil and Engliš.
Rašín was the Minister of Finance just after the WWI ended. Pospíšil and Engliš were the first two governors of Czechoslovak National Bank during the inter-war period.
Hi all
I just got a full bag of uncirculated 2018 " People Act " 50p's from the bank in the UK,
some added to my swaps list for when I get around to swapping.
thanks, Merv

(That leaves only the Winter Universiade mascot 10 rubles still outstanding; well, that and a bunch of 25 ruble types, which are hardly circulating at all.)
Thanks everyone, all updated. The first coin reported from Italy.
Mark - I have put you down for finding the Representation of the People act 50p, as the other previously reported stated they were a bag of "uncirculated" from a bank, so not really "found in circulation". Thanks.

Hi JustforFun,
Thanks for submitting first coins for Panama and Peru. I have also updated your listings for Mexico 1 and 10 pesos and USA quarter. The Philippines set, I am wondering is that an unc. set? Or just a complete set of all coins found in circulation and sent to you? I obviously haven't listed the Venezuela coins either as, as you say, these are purchased and possibly not in circulation yet.

I did not asked as it was a gift... I know the person went there for holidays, and gave me the coins... either purchase or airport / change finds.

I couldn't get my hands on it , but I was sent this picture (another coin from the co-op).
The book as background is "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone".

New Zealand - 50 cents end of World War One, Oct 2 I was sent a roll (20 x 50c) by Post Office. First one in Circulation November 6th, lucky as the mintage of 2 million was sp;d through the Post Office and almost none enter circulation and are snapped up by collectors.
New Zealand is very slow to release current year coins, currently latest coins besides those above are 2016 $1 and $2 and only 2015 for 10c, 20c, 50c.
I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.

Would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the very best for Christmas and 2019 and keep searching. I think the 2019 list has already been started by another member so good luck to them in keeping it updated
Didn't realise until updating this list that the "Mrs Tittlemouse" 50p had not already been claimed. I received this one from a colleague in work today:

However the 2019 Australian Proof Sets (Normal & Baby) issued recently are both still using the IRB Portrait. It is still uncertain as to when the RAM will actually start to use the JC portrait either in sets or in circulation.
