Geography motifs on coins

Since "Maps" was one of the suggested thematic tags recently over on this thread:
https://en.numista.com/forum/topic71169.html

I thought I would start a thread about maps of countries found on coins, usually this is particularly effective with iconic-shaped countries (e.g. the boot of Italy) but there are more than I expected, here's one of mine:

1974 Poland 200 Złotych (30th Anniversary of Liberation in WWII)

(The box with nine letters in the middle is not actually representative of a real geographical feature) :P

There is also the French 10 Francs:

(not my picture)

and not a country, but Bermuda also has a coin with a (very detailed) map of itself:
:) I own these six ...

Noone notices there is a europe map on the euro pieces? ;)

A country having a map of itself on its coat of arms? Why not: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces84227.html

There are surprisingly many examples. Funny how the geographical shape of the country is so symbolic. People usually remember their own country's maps from the school room. It's not something you have ever seen for real.

Completely overlooked that one! I have it too.

Anyway, here's the first maps of the USA on this thread:

https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces11591.html

If we count the European maps on the Euro, then for the Americas:

https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces17520.html

Some southern states relevant to the Old Spanish Trail commemorated here:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces78899.html

Great Lakes on a relevant classic commemorative:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces50680.html

Oregon Trail half dollar also features US map motif behind the native American:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces9258.html

I'm sure there are also some modern US commemoratives with map motifs, but I'm by far less interested in those.
What about this one, does it count xD?

That's not a map on a coin, but rather a coin on a map ;)

Exactly why I asked if it counts :P
@Salaction
Don't worry, I'm sure coins shaped like countries are probably going to get the "Map" thematic tag as well, so they probably also have some place on this thread.

There are these coins issued by the Republic of Congo that are shaped like the Baltic States:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?mode=simplifie&p=1&l=&r=50+francs+cfa+baltic&e=&d=&ca=3&no=&i=&v=&m=&a=&t=&dg=&w=&u=&f=&g=&c=&tb=y&tc=y&tn=y&tp=y&tt=y&te=y&cat=y
awesome :D

My entry for the France 2016 Euros!
Maybe globes could also count for the "map" tag? I'm not sure how precise and specific the tags we're going to have will be, so why not:
Tags would be generic, at least for a start, so we can see how this develops.

Hello,
If you search map, you get >2000 entries :D, indeed many euros !

My oldest, 1742, it is a medal depicting European leaders during the war of Austrian succession after Karl VI death:

I also quite like this New Zealand Dollar, particularly when thinking of what must have been such a voyage ...

Does this one count? https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces113429.html
Silver one: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces113951.html
Gold one: (no photo, but it has the same design as the 2€ and the 10€, that also doesnt have a picture) https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces128593.html
Indeed.
Same about Australia with this 50 cents (one of my favorite):

(Picture from the catalog)
Australia also has those 2 with maps and explorers, also 50 cents:

Did you know that Pluto is still a planet in Illinois and New Mexico and has de facto recognition as a planet in Arizona?

Well played. Good topic too. I see it is already in the thematic threads thread.

I don't think I ever found either of those Territories quarters in change.

Since I last posted I can add this fascinating German commemorative 10 DM.

It is a map of the Berlin Wall across a cityscape, worked in to a rampant bear.

Also, if we may include NCLT, here is a globe design on a 5 peso coin.
