Hello,

Here are several coins whose english script names should be translated into french :

Running script => "Style courant"
For instance " 1 Cash - Shaosheng Running Script" should become "1 Cash - Shaosheng (style courant)"
It think it's better to put the script name in brackets so that it is shown smaller when on the coin page and it is then clearly different of the type name. Most cash coins pages work like this.

It's already a lot a pages I know... And it is only about script translations. There's still a lot to do in the China (empire) section.

I know I should do only one request per topic. Nonetheless, I grouped all these requests into a single topic for two reasons :
- the requests are very similar to each other
- there is a lot of requests
Please delete if it is a problem.

Anyway thanks a lot !! :)
Also these ones :

Li script => "Style des clercs"

https://fr.numista.com/catalogue/pieces140278.html (Moreover, I think there's a problem with diameter and weight with this coin...)
The Empire of China section has been pretty slow lately, but I agree, they should be translated.

Now, translations are something anyone can make a request for (since editing the French title does not affect the English title, and vise versa). With that being said, if you want to make these changes, it may take a while for the referee to get to them. And if, after a week, the referee does not deal with them, I can take a look at the requests, if you want. :`

Hello Sulfur,

Thanks for your reply.
I made this request mainly because of this post of Jarcek :
https://fr.numista.com/forum/topic75277.html
(I don't find the one where I answered positively but that's the same message).

Pejounet is not active these days and since he's the only referee for China (empire) (see here : https://en.numista.com/forum/topic75588.html) all the modifications/additions are not checked (additions of coins, additions or modification of informations, title change/translation, adding of references...). For that reason I don't make any requests concerning chinese empire. I posted only these specific requests here because Jarcek asked to report the titles missing a translation. :)

Actually it doesn't matter if it is not translated immediately, the links and infos are here, when Pejounet, you, or another person in charge can do it, he'll find the needed informations to translate the titles. ;)

More widely, there's a lot to translate, only speaking about coin page titles, and not only in China empire (just type "mint" for instance in the french catalog, there are hundreds of coin titles with that word...).
Citação: "Choucas"Also these ones :

Li script => "Style des clercs"

Totally correct regarding the latest coin. I will check the correct data and make a correction request.
Renaming of all the above done.

There was (still is) a plan for update of all China catalog regarding naming and way to present it. I just didn't have the time to implement it before I went offline for.....some time. :°:°:°

Basically, it first implies uniformisation of titles (emperor, era, type, style, etc.), a reformatted Numisdoc with details about Chinese emperors/dates/eras, mint review with Mandchu character update for each file, shapes uniformisation (holed, squared, square, square with hole, hole in square coin, etc.), cleanup of currencies, grouping of some variants and translation of each single file in both French and English. :D:D

All this should be cleared within next month of February. :D;):8D
