If you have a hundred or so of inexpensive world banknotes to sell, I wish to buy.
My wife and I operate a bulk (gum and prizes) and flat (stickers, temporary tattoos and world banknotes) vending machine business. We need many world banknotes to supply our customers.
Our "Genuine World Banknotes" are our best sellers for flat vending. We vend them for 50¢ each, and after commissions are paid and the cost of the folder is deducted, we receive 34¢ each, so whatever we pay for them must be less than that. Duplicates are acceptable, as we have numerous locations. They may be circulated or uncirculated.
To trade, currently we have several different JIM (P.I.& Burma), several different large banknotes from Cambodia, Burma, many different Yugos, several different Iraq and N. Korea Tourist Notes. If you'd like to receive as many as 35 all different, please offer me at least 35 same or different or assorted in exchange.
I will sell, too, if there's interest.
If anyone wants to start their own "Genuine World Banknotes" business, I'd be glad to tell you how to do so profitably. I am doing this altruistically as I recommend that you buy everything from others.
Thanks for the various offers to trade. I can't accept them. The time and effort to accomplish it makes it cost-prohibitive.
My needs for the banknotes are to vend from our family businesses sticker/temporary tattoo machines. Currently, we're vending a variety of about 200 different for 50¢ each. The darn folders required for their vending are about 3 1/2 Cents each, then the commission which must be paid to the location is 25%, which makes that another 12 1/2 Cents out of pocket. So that means that the price for which we pay for the banknotes is dictated by our net of 34 Cents each.
But, the closer that we have to pay to that 34 Cents, means the less profit that we are able to make to enable making the necessary covering of our overhead, especially our fuel. When we began our business in 1985 regular was $1.20, when Obama, who hates gas and oil energy, took office just three years ago, regular was $1.80. Now it's $4.00, and if he's re-elected we may expect that his stated goal of getting it to $8.00 will possibly come true in the next four years ... then, instead of "sucking it up" we'll simply be "giving it up" and not buying banknotes, nor anything else for that matter.
What I was hoping to do was to buy the culls (well circulated, tears, markings, tape, etc.), over-stocked (too many of one kind), and lesser valued banknotes (the "usual suspects" seen on the internet auctions). Buying is the simplest way, plus, because it's for our business, we must report cost, and again because of the time to figure out a fair and equitable trade, not to mention the cost of sending heavy coins, and the subsequent high postal fees, makes buying the only viable alternative method of purchase. Therefore, although I appreciate the offers, it's not possible. I'll have to purchase from various eB@% and several dealers who occasionally offer me deals.
Citação: station555What are you willing to pay? I have big lot of banknotes from Yugoslavia, Belarus and few other countries. Mostly circulated.
[/quoteThank you for writing. I probably will not need any Yugoslavian banknotes for about two more years, because I have many of them. Please state whether they are culls: as very heavily circulated, torn, taped, corners missing, writing on them, etc. Or, if they are in "Good" condition, or better.
Then give me some idea ... not too much information, but very basis idea of variety.
Finally, quote prices.
If you a offer them competitively, I probably will buy them.
Here are my limitations: They will be sold from our vending machines for USD $.50 each / They must be vended by use of a folder which costs approximately USD .04 each / The Merchant must be given USD $.125 each / then there is overhead as fuel deduction which is usually about UDS $.005 each / Effectively, this allows for us to net about USD $.33 each (( 33¢ each)) / The difference between our net price and the actual purchase price is our profit. And, our profitability factor must be within 15¢ each to make selling them viable. Therefore, we are able to pay an average of 18¢ each.
Citação: SmartOneKgDo you accept expensive notes to buy?
I have New Caledonian notes worth some $80 each and I don't really care for them, although they're engraved real nicely.
Thanks for asking. I'm no longer actively buying for my personal use. Needed are those banknotes which are fairly common, or slightly better ... but because of damage have been reduced to lower value.
They have to cost me around an average price of 18¢ each.
- Currently I am offering 10 free world banknotes on the forum, for those who are willing to send a LSASE. -
