Hai, I got 2 pieces of this coin, and I would say it is coin-aligment.
But because of the Arabic lettering, I am not sure and the cresent-moon can be in both ways.
So actually this will not help you much...

I raise this topic since, in my case, this coin is also medal alignment and not coin as it says on the page (I was talking about the 2001 coin, I don't have the 2017 coin)
Can anyone who has this coin see if the same thing happens to them? I understand that the obverse is straight with the Arabic legend above, according to the picture on the page.

My coin of 2001 is also medal alignment (as all of them here) - arabic lettering is up. I agree there may be some confusion about it but it's clear the crescent is rightward.
