1827 Brazil counterstamped 40 over 80 reis

  • this is very puzzling to me.. I have above coin with different characteristics from the norm. It is 29.28 g., 41 mm., and under 2.67 mm thick. It has a reeded edge and I believe it is Counterstamped 40 over 80. Could it be on the wrong planchet? There are die cracks on it, one with a chip. Do you know what’s going on here, or if there is any value to it. The mint mark is worn off. Thank you for any insight on this, or where I might go to find out about it?
Hi,

next time do NOT forget the link to the coin you believe it is, it's very important!

https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces3974.html

I have given your images 20% more light!

On the date side under the N in CONST... you'll see some extra alloy.

This is image from the numista coin, but turned correctly!

Numista states 28.69 grs, diameter 39.6 mm and thickness 2.5 mm

and you 29.28, 41 and 2.67.

In view of the grade of the coin shown in numist, I would assume, that the measures are from that rather low grade coin, so it's normal that you coin has more of everything, since it's less used.....

Just my opinion:°

So no value, or errors on it? Thanks for your help.
This coin is countermarked 40 over 80. So, no error. Can you tell which mintmark is next to the 1827?
