Hello guys, what do you think about the authenticity of this coin? I think it's all wrong but can be a coin used in jewelry... Thanks in advance! https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces4942.html

At first look, the obv and rev look good. Then I saw the weight and it should read 6.2g. Assuming your scale is correct. But the sides look like it’s been grooved out. Possibly for jewelry like you said. Is the groove perfectly centered all around the coin?

Ian min. The coin is damaged. I think it’s real, but I would ping the coin and listen to see if it’s hollow. I’ve seen some (usually dollars) used as snuff boxes with similar attributes like the one you show.
Modern day copper-nickel quarters have that kind of edge when they are found metal detecting at a saltwater beach where as silver quarters turn black and the edge stays the same. This makes me think it's a counterfeit. maybe of maybe new.

look closely at the edge. There is a trench of sorts cut out. The milling on the edge still exists and looks normal. A counterfeiter wouldn’t go through that much trouble. The obv and rev looks good. This trench would account for the lower weight.
I have never seen a 90% silver coin do that. Corrosion will attack the same metal uniformly. It looks like a silver clad coin where the corrosion has attacked a base metal and not the silver. Perhaps do an ice or silver test for clarity.

Hello.
I believe that it is genuine.
I think.it was once encased.
Ever see an encased coin?
You know the penny or dime in the aluminum or brass holder that says "Keep Me And You Will Never Be Broke..."?
When the coin is removed from the holder, it looks just like your quarter.
Hello guys, I made a Relative Density test on the coin... The result was 10,54, so its Silver... I will assume that's an authentic coin in bad condition with corrosion and edge damage... Thanks all for the opinions!

Agree it is genuine. The edge was worked, for use in jewelry most likely, as others have already surmised, or some other reason we may never know.
thank you for doing the sp.gr. Few people understand that concept.
