Hello dear experts,
I got this Hu-Peh province 7 Mace 2 Candareens replica on a lot. It seems to be a replica of this one ? (the only difference being the lettering on the top of the obverse. Is this the year? - I don't read Chinese :))

Diameter: 39.2mm
Thickness: 2.2mm
Weight: 18.10gr

I've found this replica in Numista but it does not match the weight of my coin.
Could it be that the replica above is of this one instead? (the chin of the dragon seem to match), and mine a replica of the first one I listed? if that's the case I can add the new replica to the catalog.
Would someone be able to confirm?

Thanks in advance for your help,
Alex.

There is no date on these. Check out this one for an idea what the characters mean: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces7386.html
Have you tried a magnet? Many of the copies are magnetic, which explains the weight difference.

Of course is magnetic! :)

Ok. So the text in the top of the obverse should be the name of the province... thing is: it does not match the name in the other "Hu-Peh" coins.
Is there someone out there who can read it? I'll add the replica to the catalog but it would be nice if someone can help me out with the translation.

text in the top of the obverse:
黑龍江省造 Made in Heilongjiang Province

FYI:

Thanks everyone. I'll add this replica to the catalog.

Hi Petrus,
I'm aware of these two articles and (as I stated in the subject) I knew from the start this was a replica, I just wanted to know similar to which real coin. I added it to the catalog as such here.

Back during the late Qing-early Republican eras of China, provincial mints would issue copper and silver currency for their own. These usually have a similar design to one another, but have the name of the province in Chinese on the top of the obverse and in English on the top of the reverse.

This coin, bearing Heilongjiang on the obverse and Hupeh on the reverse, would be a "mule". Obviously the counterfeiter didn't do their homework!
