"I have a Nazi coin in my collection. Year 1942. When analyzing the mint mark, I noticed the letter L, but that letter does not fit in the letters of the mint mark. Can anyone confirm if there are others or if it was a code of war currency?"

Thanks!

There are no mints with an L the only letter possible to fit would be an E.

atualizado. Havia esquecido.

Exactly! but I looked and looked at this piece and I don't see the E, although this coin is well judged ... = (

Jajaja.

I see clearly mintmark E

Wow Petrus, you must have good eyes. The coin is too much corroded to see anything clearly.

But if I have to gamble, I certainly don't see an L (which is normal because there is no mint mark L for these coins) and I would go more for an F than an E.

Alex, I'm sorry, but this is not nice. Magnun Gibson speaks English and you are replying in Spanish, putting everyone who doesn't speak Spanish on the sideline. This is the English spoken forum, if everybody starts speaking his own language the whole forum will be a big mess and chaos.
It's not only not nice, it's also strange. Magnun Gibson started his post in Portuguese (with an English translation) and you answered in Spanish. So you must have seen his profile, but his profile says he also speaks English. So why answering in Spanish? If you like to speak Spanish answer by private message or give an English translation like Magnun did.
Point taken.

Don't take it personally Alex, you're not the only one who has done this. But it's annoying when you're interested in what's being said/asked and then they start talking in a language most of us don't understand.
it looks very much like E, and a L does not exist.

Yes, that's an "E" without any doubt. But that was not the coin of the first post where this thread is about, just an example Petrus gave of an "E".
Agreed - this is the original coin, which looks like an E ...

I thank friends from all over the place who offered to help.
I apologize for the answers in Spanish. As a Brazilian, I have a certain facility of understanding Spanish ...
flawed act! lol
however, it is certainly a Mint Mark "E" really ...
These war stories sometimes move us.
Thank you so much!
