This folder is part of a series dedicated to the national side of Cyprus's euro coins.

This is the first issue and is dedicated to the cross-shaped sculpture (idol) dating back to the Chalcolithic period (3,000 BC) and originating from the village of Pomos, a characteristic example of prehistoric Cypriot art, which is depicted on the €1 and €2 coins.
