I got the standing on the shoulders of giants £2 today, I wonder how many will make it into circulation since the 2015 5th portrait is the Britannia :)
Citação: SakrificedI found 50 Satang (0.5 Baht) Thailand today.
Damn its been a while since someone reported a find. Thanks for telling us!
You might want to read previous post, a lot of people reported finds (me included) and you didn't added them to the top post.
You're right! I'll be updating the list by any minute now. I think it has something to do with the fact I didnt receive any forum updates a while back.

I wonder if it'll happen like last year when I got the 5 Pesos coin until the last day of 2014 So far haven't seen a single one. And as for the 2 Pesos, 2014 didn't got one, so I wouldn't be surprised if 2015 neither, maybe it will be discontinued.

My Dad has just rang me to say he's got a 2015 UK 10p put aside for me until he sees me on Saturday. He already found one for himself earlier in the week and is registered on here - tomca52 if we can add to the found list? Thanks.
Hopefully I'll find some 2015 euros in Madeira this week then ! If I do I'll post via the hotspot if I'm at a resteraunt or at a loose end at the hotel (let's face it I will when we're about to go out and she needs to get ready)
Picked these up today whilst I was on a till at our local charity shop.
Left 2015 Isle of Man 1 pound
Right 2015 GB 1 Penny (New Head) Actually got three of them today

5 Pence (5th portrait) -> ZacUK (22-7-2015)
Got it this morning, and looked at it firstly on portrait side, and assumed as I had never seen anything like that before (with date above portrait) that it was from maybe Gibraltar or Jersey etc. Then turned it over and saw the UK design, so look at first side again and saw it was the new portrait. The coin looks like it has been circulating a while.
Still to find the 2015 older (4th portrait) 10 Pence and 50 Pence and 1 Pound coins.
Nice one both, I haven't come across any new portrait coins yet. Did get the 10p off my dad at the weekend (4th portrait) so just need the 50p (shield & battle of britain) and £1 now (plus the commemorative £2 coins).
Right... I got back three days ago and I have updated the list. I have also found a lot of 2014/2015 coins in circulation as well so I have included those as well in the list. I am actually amazed by the amound of 10/20/50 Lipa coins I have found on the streets, people apparently don't care so much for them and just loose them or throw them away. I only had trouble with completing my date run for these coins, many of them were struck after 2000 so the ones from the nineties were were hard to find. I only managed to get a couple from the nineties and all others were post-2000. Hopefully I'll complete my series in the future through swaps.

2 Pence (5th portrait) -> ZacUK (24-7-2015)
After reading of other members finding the 1 Pence 5th portrait now circulating, I was hoping today to also find one - but I went one better and got the 2 Pence in pocket change.
So still needed ...
4th portrait ~ 50 Pence, 1 Pound
5th portrait ~ 10 Pence, 20 Pence, 50 Pence, 1 Pound, 2 Pounds
plus any commemoratives.
Breaking news: just received today a Spanish €2 in a laundromat.

1 Pound (5th portrait) -> ZacUK (27-7-2015)
Not sure if it would count, but I have seen and touched one today!
At 9am today the sandwich lady came to our place and had her son with her (as it is school holidays) and he showed me the 5th portrait £1 coin his mum had found for him on Friday. I should have asked to borrow it for a day, so I could take a picture for here; she said the next one she gets she will keep it for me. I was expecting maybe the 10p or 20p or 50p to be the next to be found of the 5th portrait (after 1p and 2p and 5p already found), so was surprised to see a shiny new £1 coin with the new portrait on (and a new reverse as well).
Maybe tomorrow I will get one - so for today just mentioning they are now circulating.
I've got some UNC 20 french cents, and 2 french cents, and 5 french cents from 2015.

They pulled em fresh out of the roll for me though, they'd run out at the till.

50 Pence (4th portrait) -> ZacUK (31-7-2015)
Pictures not how they used to be on my computer, but better than nothing I guess (still working way round new computer).
I actually got this coin in change on Tuesday afternoon, then when I got home my computer crashed (motherboard failure), so was hoping nobody added this one here. Still waiting to see the 5th portrait version (or be given the 5th portrait £1 as mentioned earlier).
I know they're already found but I got x3 5th portrait pennies and X11 2p yesterday. I'm still waiting on..
EDIT: Just got the 5th 5p today XD
Much more interesting this year !
4th portrait
10,50 & £1
5th portrait
10,20,50,£1 &£2
:( they're coming out a little quicker than I thought although I want the 4th portait coins just as much !
I've just read that the 2015 5th portait £1 isn't due into circulation until later this year so someone has put that into circulation from a set or something.
Today I got the 4th portrait £1 coin, I'm wondering what the montage figure for this will be since they are switching anyway.
I also got my first 10p of this year too and as a bonus the striking on the legend and especially the date is exceptionally poor by royal mint standards..
i also got 4 new head pennies which I'll be keeping for future and current swap partners.
With reference to that 27th July reply of mine, I thank Tracie who showed me the coin (UK 2015 £1 5th portrait) on that day - she gave it to her nephew Devon for his collection. I asked to have another look at it, so I could take a picture to verify on here that I had indeed seen it. So here it is below, taken on her sandwich van this morning. Thanks !
I get the third set of Rio 2016 olympic coins this week!!!!
It´s football, voley, para athletics and judo.
I add to catalogue, but the admin don´t confirm yet.
The mrs just came back from shopping and threw the change on the kitchen counter. I thought, that's a shiny 20p so checked it out. New portrait 20p woohoo!
Still need a few of the old portrait for 2015 but that's another of the new one found.
Apologies for the crap photo. Been using daughters Windows phone for photo's lately but I broke it on her the other day. Having to buy her a new one next week
Citação: "Lotus07"Strange nobody's found any of the British commemorative coins yet, does it take a while for them to be released to circulation?
normally I don't get any coins of the year until around September time and by the time I get my last one it's usually the next year.
The commemoratives were BU released with the 4th portrait and 100 lucky people got them in their change from the hms Belfast gift shop. I believe they're going into general circulation with the 5th portrait though making that 100 almost priceless !
Anyone needing them.. I have spare a 2015 4th portrait technology £2, and shield type 50p. Quite a few, only keeping them until the weekend then I'll be spending them..
Citação: "tom1410"Hello, now Lithuania uses euro coins, so sure I've found new coins with date 2015 on them. It's just they are minted in 2014 :)

Hi Thomas,
The €1,- Lietuva 2015 I just got as a refund by LIDL, Germany.
They are going all over Europa, I think.

And 5 euro cents a few weeks ago from a woman in the same laundromat I found my Felipe €2 coin. But in that case the woman needed change as the laundromat doesn't accept less than 10 cent coins.

Found - Czech Republic 5 kč and 20 kč 2015 - the first on 8/9/2015 and the second was found by my dad on 7/9/2015, though given to me on 8/9/2015.
The 20 kč is for swap and I want someone to add it to the yearlist of this coin. Thanks.
As I see, there are still not 5 and 10 lipa 2015 coins in there. I found first 10 lipa 2015 on around 21th August and 5 lipa on 24th August, but I suppose that Kuna found it much sooner.
Wow, I actually was so busy I forgot about this topic. Well I have also found a 2015 5 Cents, 10 Cents and 1 Dollar from Canada all in circulation. I don't think I have found a 2015 2 Dollar coin yet.
The lady that showed me the £1 5th portrait has today given me this, which she got yesterday - not the standard Technology design £2 but the Mary Rose coin. She got it change, and said her nephew had a Royal Mint album with a picture of the coin with a slot to put the coin in it, so it must be a real coin. I say that as the only coin with that reverse design is this 2011 one below, but mine has 2015 and different lettering - plus the portrait looks strange. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces17100.html
So I won't add 2015 to KM# 1199 as I'm sure it will have a different number.
EDIT: A few hours later, and I think Mark (see below) is correct - it is a forgery!
The Royal Navy coin has a ship facing ... https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces68048.html
so when she said it had a space in an album it must have been that coin. So it is not a 2015 coin discovered after all; though maybe any day now the Royal Navy coin will circulate, and the Magna Carta coin too.
I'll go to Luxembourg next week, I hope I'll find a few 2015 coins like for the last visit a few months ago (even it was not from Luxembourg but a commemorative from Germany)

That's horrific ! A really blatant forgery like that just shows how confident these counterfeiters are.
Finally...2015 Aruba 2½ Florin from the Central Bank minted for "circulation" and not as previous years just for set only. Haven't found any other denomination yet in circulation.
I'm really disappointed by the lack of new coins here they seemed to come thick and fast and then suddenly stop ! I still don't have the 5th portrait 10 or 50p and thus far I've not seen a commemorative !
I didn't report it because I received it from a swap, but the original owner was from New Zealand.

Seems like the Australian coins take forever to come out. I am visiting here from the US and have seen a 2015 $1, 50 cent and 20 cent coins but no others. I've been searching bags of coins from the bank for the past few weeks but only have seen 2 of each! That being said - I did buy the 2016 Uncirculated set already which is really bizarre. Australia is commemorating 50 years of decimal coinage by adding the previous pence/shilling coin reverses to the new obverse. Great country to collect coins from but a bit daunting with all of the issues. For the best in Australian coins - check brismike's profile.

Hi Mark,
According to the list of found coins at the top, you have found the 5th portrait 10p
I've had the sandwich lady in work looking out for my missing coins for me and today she got me the 5th portrait 50p!! Yay! Will add a photo to this posting later on when I'm home.
Still haven't found a single 2015 coin in circulation here. Last year I didn't find any 2014 coins in circulation before December 31st, so I guess there's still time!
I think, except a few unregistered coins already inside the country, I won't find anymore 2015 coins with the border lock initially due to COP21 and reinforced because of the terrorist attacks.

I'm not an expert in any kind of coins, but I reckon I'm good at research and will do my best to help. Feel free to tell me my identifications/valuations/gradings are wrong. It's the only way I'll learn.

I see.. I found a very weakly struck legend on a 4th must have been mistaken for it. I'm jealous of the 50p mind ha !
Great! There is the £2 5th portrait coin and commemoratives missing only in UK.

Just managed to get 4 5th portrait 10p's off our sandwich lady. That's one for me and my dad and one each in the 2 set's I'm putting together for my US friends
Asked her to put to one side 3 more 50p's if she comes across them and she's looking out for £1, £2 coins also.
Sweden hasn't been minting coins since 2013, and there won't be any more coins until October 2016, when the new coins are being released..so no 2015 coins will be found..
