Yes - nice coin, but all today is 1928 only; tomorrow all day is 1927 only.
The other topic https://en.numista.com/forum/topic26023.html is one year after another, not this one. But welcome to the forum.
My mistake...sorry for that. But today I posted another nice coin from 1927.

Citação: ALLRED1950The only Silver US nickels are from WW2 1942 to 1945. The half dimes are silver. I think, but they are not nickels.
ALL buffalo head nickels are non-silver? I figured they'd've had some silver ones from really early on, when all the nickels would have been silver... like early 1900s or before...
The buffalo heads started in 1913.
And only the war nickels (the ones Allred pointed out) and the half dimes/half disme are silver in the 5c catagory.

Citação: nosouvenirsQuestion. Why do some of these turn blue?
Do you mean the coins, or my pictures ?! That picture was taken last thing before sundown, so the camera (digital microscope actually) loses some colour and picture goes bluer; there is no colour adjust on the camera. Though maybe it does not like a white background; here is another silver coin, which I will be adding on here in five days when it is 1905 all day, and has a green (bath towel) background ...
and looks better I think.
Citação: ALLRED1950hey ZacUK you can still send it to me.I will take care of it

I still wait for those to arrive from you, which I asked about eight months ago - those and some other items (stamps, and coins) you were kindly giving away (at the time).
